Enrolling a Student in Saint Paul Public Schools?

Students who want to enroll in Saint Paul Public Schools must first schedule an intake appointment at the Student Placement Center. Appointments are strongly recommended but walk-ins are accepted as time permits. Our building hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. To schedule an intake appointment, please call 651-632-3700.

During intake, students and their families will:

  • Meet with Student Placement Center staff to share information about their students
  • Receive language assessment if a language other than English is spoken at home
  • Learn about available schools and programs and select a school
  • Meet with a school nurse to provide medical history, receive immunization updates, and connect to community resources
